My Pink Wingback Chair Finally Gets Reupholstered

My very first blog post was about this pink wingback I bought at the Salvation Army.

And now, finally, a year later I decided on the fabric and had it reupholstered

in houndstooth

I even stiled it for you.

The funniest part of the new stile is that you posed the chair adjacent to an elephant, whereas I used to refer to the pink version of the chair as “that pink elephant chair.” Awesome.

Oh, that’s right! This wasn’t even intentional.

Hey remember when this chair was out for two days and you didn’t even notice and when it came back in its new state, you didn’t notice either? Ha!

I love it! And I am slightly jealous… I have been wanting to re-upholster my Wingback Chair forever! However, mine is already in houndstooth. Maybe I should just leave it and refinish the legs?! Anyways, great job.

Kim, I swear I was just thinking about you. I was like, I think Kim’s chair is yellow houndstooth. If I remember correctly, it was also in good condition. Yeah, I agree. Maybe just switch out the leg color.
