Our initial inclination for placing books on a bookcase or shelves, is to prop them up. Placing them horizontally feels modern, especially in large groupings.
And when stacked beside a fireplace, when then you’re an out of the box thinker and ultra hip.
Try this with your magazines too.
An easy change that doesn’t cost any money. Unless you feel the need to buy new books.

ohh with the magazines! game changer. now, how do I get TH and his minimalist ways to think that this is not clutter?
I like this idea. It’s a quick,easy and CHEAP(!)way to freshen up a space. I’m gonna try this!
