The generous team behind Alice and Trixie just sent me one of their beautiful blouses, the Tatum Top. The top is so versatile, I thought I’d share how easy it can go from work, to night, to just out and about for a casual afternoon.
First up, business. ‘Cause I mean it.
Because the top is black and white, I wanted to pair it with some color for contrasting fun. The skirt is a recent purchase from H&M. The scalloped details give it some femininity and the zipper gives it some edge. You probably can’t tell I’m wearing any shoes because they’re the same color as my legs, but I am indeed and they’re from Zara. Just a low, nude pump to keep the overall look professional, although TH said my skirt was too short.
The black trim against the flowy sleeves and v neck give the blouse an extra pop, making it feel classic with a twist.
I next paired the top with black skinny jeans from Zara, black Badgley Mischka pumps, a leopard print belt from Target and a vintage clutch. This is something I’d wear to meet up with some friends for drinks or on a dinner date with TH. I tousled my hair and applied a red lip; I’m ready for my drink(s).
In the last look, I wore the top out casually. I paired it with denim shorts I’m shredding to pieces because I’ve worn them more times than I could count, a Zara military jacket, ankle boots blogged about here and a rebecca minkoff bag. I put my hair up so the look feels extra casual and keep the focus on the Tatum Top.
Thanks again to Alice and Trixie. Be sure to check them out guys. Nice stuff.
