Dinner with Friends
5 Aug
This evening TH and I will host dinner for our friends The Israels, not to be confused with Israelis, although one of them is Jewish.
It’s a once-a-month tradition we’ve been trying to keep since before their wedding last year.
I woke up bright and early to get a head start on setting the table and have something for today’s post. And a perfect opportunity to use my new to me gold flatware.

gold flatware blogged about here.

Have a great weekend!

Oh HONEY! That gold flatware is looking fiiiine! It seriously makes the whole thing for me…and I love the color palette…have a great dinner party!
Uh…how can I get in on this dinner tradition?!
So gorgeous. Love your table setting! The colors are so warm, glowy and happy. Have a wonderful time! I love dinner parties.
Love the effort you have put in! Usually when entertaining, I put all my focus on the food and then whatever energy I have left goes to the table… usually not a lot. Have a fantastic weekend!
Food should definitely be the main priority. Sadly, it comes in second for me. But with a husband who loves to cook I get to be his sous chef, which gives my plenty o’ time to set a pretty table. : )
This is SO adult of you! I’m awful at setting tables. I want your flatware and your goblets (that’s she said)!!
The table looks gorgeous! I love the elephant teapot for flowers–I have one too and I’m gonna have to copy that. Have a wonderful dinner!
The elephant teapot is from Cost Plus too!
Thanks for hosting a lovely dinner! The table was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the company was great as always!
What a gorgeous tablescape! I am in love with your flamingo.
Gorgeous tablescape!! Love the elephant vase and the gold flatware. So fabulous, so lovely.
